As a mother of three I understand how important flexibility, quality and affordability are. My goal is to create works of art that your family can enjoy showing off. My commitment to you is to be engaged, creative, fun and professional from our first meeting until I deliver the photographs into your hands.
When I was in the 10th grade I picked up an old Canon SLR film camera and my love affair began. In the years that followed I studied photography techniques, read everyting I could get my hands on that was photography related, sought out and studied the work of photographers I admired, and honed my skills by taking pictures of friends and family. In 2008 I hung my shingle and launched Tulip Designs. In addition to working with families like yours, I have been known to teach an introduction to digital photography class and I have been a digital designer, showcased on a number of websites including Scrapbook Flair for creating fun ways for people to showcase their favorite pictures.
I am empathetic, sympathetic, slightly nervous, mostly honest, moderately modest, bad at chess, and always asking questions. I dream big, always, and I love to hear stories. There is beauty and art in everything around you, you just have to look for it. I prefer back roads to the highway. I prefer wearing pink to wearing purple. I prefer beef to chicken. I prefer Target to Wal-mart. I prefer odd numbers to even numbers. In general, I am a silly, self-entertaining, generally happy, somewhat selfish, intelligent, bashful, confused, narcissistic, somewhat lazy yet motivated, procrastinating conformist who is content with the current state of affairs in her life as a lover of all things peanut butter.
